we are all going to memorize 5 rhetorical terms and come up with one question to go over the story to try and get a better understanding in our reading which will help us to do better in the AP Exam if we practice it enough time

we are also planning to meet in the library, outside of school, so if we need help in some other stuff we can search for books and look for the information.

How April 9th & the following weekend:

-Study errors on the test, read & take notes page 677 and page 25.  Read & create a say, mean, matter on Safe-Sex Lies page 442.

April 15th:

-Read The Expulsion: Masaccio page 586. Annotate the image on page 587 and define terms that we are not familiar with.

April 17th & following weekend:

Read Shooting Dad page 144 and create a say, mean, matter.

April 21st:

Read Marrying Absurb page 159 and define the terms we are not familiar with.

April 22nd:

Read and annotate How to Dump a Friend page 281.

April 24th:

Read and create a say, mean, matter on How to Poison the Earth page 276.

April 28th:

Read Why I Stopped Being a Vegitarian page 551 and define the terms we are not familiar with.

April 29th:

Read and annotate The Holocaust page 491.

May 1st:

Read and create a say, mean, matter on Notes From the Hip Hop Underground page 328.

May 2nd:

All members are attending APEL Prep.

May 3rd:

All members get together and discuss our readings, explain what other group members don’t unnderstand, and review tone, rhetorical techniques, etc.

May 5th:

Read and define terms that are unfamiliar on The Silk Parachute page 623.

May 6th:

Read and create a say, mean, matter on Sex, Drugs, Disasters, and the Extinction of Dinosaurs page 592.

*We all take off May 8th to study for our APUSH exam the next day.

May 9th:

We will all attend another session of APEL Prep.

May 10th:

We will all get together and discuss what was explained during the APEL Prep the previous day. We will discuss and use our APEL study books that we all bought and go over what is inside.

*After may 10th, we will use the remainder of the days to study  and prepare for the APEL test.

Last Friday, March 29, students attended an orientation at CSUN’s Oviatt Library. Today, we will begin to convert our general topics for the research paper into more specific subjects. We will also examine a paper and take a look at it for its structure.
